The Spitfire No. 92 centrepin reel

This reel is a tribute to the classic 1939 aerial match and is a limited edition closed at 100 reels. This reel is number 92 from the last of the limited edition run of Spitfire reels. The first 50 reels were made 9/16″ wide and the last 50 at 3/4″ wide.

The reel has a 6 spoke construction with a solid back plate. The spool is in bright polished finish and has black tapered handles. The backing bowl is made from a solid block of aluminum with the foot bracket and line guard lugs machined into it. The backing bowl and 1/4 line guard are finished in black anodize. The reel is fitted with a button ‘V’ check mechanism.
