This very special reel is No 1 of the limited edition Spitfire set, size 3 7/8″ diameter by 9/16″ wide made for left hand wind.
Made during the lockdown of 2021 along with the last of the Spitfire centrepins. The reel is made to the original narrow spool design but fitted with the latest improved spindle and bushing design, so it boasts the best of both worlds.
The reel is in brand new condition, in fact it has never left the workshop!
