Finding that the old eclipse polished backing plate marked very easily I have now started colour anodizing the backs to make them more scratch resistant. This has produced some very interesting combinations.
The range of colours are as follows:
- Smokey Blue with Blue crushed velvet handles
- Black with Black Ebony handles
- Burgundy with Burgundy crushed velvet handles
- Pouter Grey with horn handles
The new Total Eclipse range of colours can now be applied to any of the reels in my Range.
All the spools are still polished but with the new colours of the backing plates ,foot brackets and line guards they look splendid.
